About Me

My name is Megan and I’m 20 and 11/12 years young. Currently, I’m a junior at Auburn University, majoring in journalism and minoring in political science.

I’m a child of divorce, but that only means I have two wonderful sets of parents, more grandparents to be spoiled by and a multitude of siblings to talk to. I have grown up an “Army brat,” but I have spent most of my life in Texas, Idaho, Alabama and Germany.

I’m curious, sometimes ask too many questions, talk when things shouldn’t be said and read so much that some might call it a fault. I think what happens nationally and globally affects every person directly and that people should pay more attention to what’s going on around them, but not trust every word that is said on the news.

I love satire, sarcasm, puns and most other types of humor and that love might occasionally pop up in my writing. (Just bear with me)

I will (hopefully and to my best ability) be using AP Style format for my writing, although some posts will be more informal, such as this one.

And finally, words to live by, “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform.” -Mark Twain
